Lemon laws provide purchasers and lessees of new motor vehicles a statutory warranty compelling the motor vehicle manufacturers to give them a refund or a replacement vehicle if, after a reasonable number of attempts at repair, a covered vehicle fails to conform to the terms of the manufacturer’s express warranty. The statute covers cars, trucks, vans, motorcycles, all-terrain vehicles, and towable recreational vehicles.
